A note from Michelle, Owner of 5811 Farm & Stables:

People often ask me where 5811 comes from. 2024 was a trying year for me, physically, mentally, & everything in between. Throughout it all I’ve made it a point to lean into God & strengthen my relationship with the creator. Throughout my journey to home ownership I’ve repeated countless times “God will provide”, & he has. This has been the inspiration behind 5811 Farm & Stables.

Isiah 58:11 in its standard version reads “the LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.”

As we continue to build out the farm & get the garden started it’s important to me to give back to the community & rebuild my non profit. Mission 5811 is that non profit. We will use the resiliency of the horses to show humans that they can bounce back from anything. We will use the innocence of goats to provide laughter on tough days. We will use our resources to grow food & show our community how to live off of the earth. As we learn to farm, we will share that knowledge & build each other up.

We don’t have everything figured out or lined up yet, but God will provide. What I do have figured out are the people I want around me. I want people who truly care about others & who are willing to help me with this mission. I would love for you to be a part of 5811 Farm & Stables.
